The Light to Light Walk follows the coast of the southern section of Beowa National Park for around 30 km, from Boyds Tower at Red Point to Green Cape Lighthouse. Most people walk it over two or three days, camping at Saltwater Creek and Bittangabee Bay.
The route
- Boyds Tower to Saltwater Creek — past red cliffs, rock platforms and quiet coves.
- Saltwater Creek to Bittangabee Bay — via beaches and coastal heath; Bittangabee has historic ruins.
- Bittangabee Bay to Green Cape — the final stretch out to the lighthouse.

Planning tips
- Camping: book campsites through NSW National Parks; sites are popular in holidays.
- Water: carry enough; do not rely on creeks.
- Transport: arrange a car shuffle or transfer between the two ends — the walk is one way.
- Tides and weather: some sections cross rock platforms and beaches. Check forecasts and park alerts, especially for fire danger.
- Wildlife: look for whales offshore in season, plus wallabies, goannas and sea birds.
